Unlock the Innate Powers of your Mind

KeyInnate powers of the human mind – that’s a mentalizer’s turf!

Did you know that your mind possesses immense powers that you wouldn’t even believe you had? Unlocking this power can dramatically change your life, and change your perspective on most things in life. Of course, you’ll need to invest quite a bit of time and effort to be able to pull this off successfully. In my earlier lessons, I have covered the powers of the mind, and how you can enhance your ability to read people’s thoughts and accomplish other seemingly impossible feats. Below are three tips to get you going.

1.      Dig Below The Surface

When it comes to the pyramid of knowledge and wisdom, your conscious mind is just the tip of the iceberg. Your subconscious mind is really an incredible tool that you can count on to improve your life in dramatic ways. According to research, only up to 20 percent of all mind potential is tapped. That means that there’s a goldmine out there. One of the best ways to unlock the innate powers of your mind is to tap into your subconscious mind. But how do you just do this? It’s actually easier than you might think.

Learn to meditate. Although there are multiple different types of meditation, the basic principle is the same – meditation changes brain patterns from a regular waking state (beta waves) to alpha, theta and delta states. The first altered state, alpha, is associated with light relaxation and happens during the start of the meditation process. This is where you start accessing your subconscious mind. You’ll be prone to more creative thought and easier problem solving. As you progress and access deeper layers of your mind, its true power is unlocked. The good thing is that meditation can be easily practiced by anyone.

2.      Believe

One of the key things that can get you trapped into low performance is failing to believe in yourself. It’s important that you truly believe in yourself so that you can be able to make the best use of your mind. Most people get trapped in ingrained beliefs formed during school days. Those words said out loud by a bully still impact how you live your life. Those achievements that you didn’t score early on still haunt you. This is not the way to go. As you count on meditation to help realize your untapped potential, it’s imperative that you start believing in yourself.

3.      Fuel Yourself

If you owned a really expensive car, you wouldn’t just go to any gas station and fill it with dirty, cheap fuel, right?

Same thing applies to your mind. If you want to make the best out of it, you need to be very careful what you fuel it with. Studies have ascertained the distinct relationship between what people eat and how it affects their cognitive function. Feeding your body with lots of processed ‘junk food’ isn’t going to do any better to your untapped brain powers. Get lost from this habit and start consuming fresh food as often as you can. Antioxidant rich foods such as blueberries, as well as Omega 3 oil, contain essential components that enrich the brain. Also, prioritize foods rich in Vitamin C and exercise regularly.

As you can see, you don’t have to go to the moon and back to get started unlocking the innate powers of your mind. All it takes is getting into a simple routine of meditation, believing in yourself, and feeding your brain with the right foods. A simple Google search will return more brain superfoods than you probably need to do this. So you really have no excuse! Get started unleashing the full potential of your mind.
